I will pay you 600 to do a video. All you need to do is sign a release and you can get a copy of the video. However I can do anything I want with the video. ; )
Photoshoot is standard… but its usually about half that price! Do a little research on the agency.
Yes. I am a model and I’ve been a model for 15 years now. Modeling agencies don’t try and get money from you. The only thing they do is get you work as a model. You get pictures taken through the agency (free to you) or they will find a photographer who will do trade for pay (free to you). Their job is to get you work. You won’t need to pay the agency for anything until they get you work. When an agency gets you a real job, you will have to pay the agency a percentage of what you make. Usually they only ask for 10-15% tops. My agency will give me gigs for $1000 per job and I usually have to pay the agency $80 per $1000 I make. Agents make good money though. If an agent has 20 models and they all work 5 days a week, they make $80 per model. 20 x 80 = $1600 per day. I wanna start my own agency because I’m gonna retire from modeling soon. From what you say, it sounds like a total scam. Be very careful.
