Modeling Agency?

Alright here is the deal. I am currently represented by Ford Models. I am pretty happy with them and with my contract. The only thing is…
I haven't really done many things with them. I mean by that is I have been on the runway, but only 2 times and I have been with them for a year and a few months. I have also only had 3 photo shoots. They weren't every enthusiastic about my photos. They are the ones that offered me the contract and I didn't have a great portfolio, but they thought I had potential. Here is the question. I sent my portfolio to ELITE MODELING AGENCY. I received a call and e-mail from them. I went to an open call a few weeks ago in downtown New York. They would like for a parent legal guardian to meet with them on Monday to have them go through the whole contract thing. Should I change Agencys?

  6. If you think you would go farther in life with the agency that is looking into you than go for it.

  16. YES. i know other people have said yes but still. elite sounds way more interested in you. and if you haven't done much with Ford, why not?

  18. You should since Ford models is obviously a waste of time. Ford models is known to be the top modeling agency in the world, but its seems like they dont do much for you anyways, so you should change.

  22. If you think that elite would be better for you then sure change. But it's not like your guaranteed to get more jobs with elite than you did with Ford. Sadly people can see potential in you but they can't guarantee you a job. Your lucky that you got the work that you did.

    –Edit–
I hope it all works out for you, I'm a model too so I'll add you as a contact : ]

  28. if you cant stay with both, then yes. it sounds like ford models isnt going to take you anywhere. but there are alot of models that are a part of maybe 6 or 7 agencies at one time. but make sure Ford and Elite are both okay with it. if either one is not, like i said, go with Elite
