how long does it take for a modeling agency to respond?
how long for a modeling agency to respond to the photos a person submitted if they are interested? how long should i keep waiting for them to respond..and at what point should i realize they arent interested?

they will often contact you within a week. if you dont meet the basic criteria (at least 5′9, size 2 or 4, and approx 33/24/34 inch measurements), they often dont even look at your photos and toss the submission in the "no" pile. they get thousands of submissions weekly, and they weed people out very quickly and know potential when they see it, so they are quick to snap up a girl if they think she may have model potential
if they dont respond
then there noT intrested.
Not very long. They should respond in the same week when you contact them if they are legit & interested.
At my old agency we always tried to respond within 2 weeks if we were interested. Most agencies don’t bother contacting you if they are not interested. If it’s been longer than 3 weeks, then they aren’t interested. Try again in 6-12 months with new photos or see if they have any upcoming open calls. Whenever possible it’s best to choose an open call vs sending in photos, as you’ll know for sure you are actually being seen by an agent rather than an intern or assistant who is doing the initial screening of the pictures sent into any agency
