Do I have to take the classes to be signed to a modeling agency?
I went to a couple of interviews and they both said "We can’t sign you right away because you don’t have any experience. So, we suggest you take our classes." I’ve done some research and most sites said that most of those agencies are scams because after you pay for the classes they don’t give you jobs. I just want to know what to look for. If you had some experience with this, please give me some advice. Thanks! (: and btw I haven’t took the offer for the classes either.
I want to send pictures to a local modeling agency online…do I need professional pics?
Or could I just take them myself with my point and shoot camera (12 MP)?

What types of photos should I take of myself when trying out for a modeling agency?
Female, interested in high-fashion jobs, I don’t know which agencies I’m submitting pics to - my friend who knows them all will be doing that. I don’t have a professional portfolio handy, and I need to submit amateur ones as soon as possible.
What kinds of photos at home shall my friend take of me 2 heighten my chances of getting booked with an agency???? i.e, head shot, and the lighting.
